God is so good!

I don't have any adoption news, but I wanted to share that Adam and I are still in Columbia and we have seen God do INCREDIBLE things during our short stay here. One of the students told me today that her life will never be the same after this trip and I feel the same way. We have preached the gospel to thousands of people and seen hundreds come to know the awesome love of God. We have been on many different mission trips all over the world, but we have never seen anything like what we have experienced over these past two weeks. One thing I know for sure- the God who set the boundaries for the ocean can most certainly handle the details of our adoption (even though I feel at times that I would rather be in control). Waiting, waiting, waiting...

Well...we were really hoping to have our letter from The Minister of Family and Gender by now, but we haven't heard anything. Have any of you other families out there waiting heard any news??? We are thinking of all of you during this wait!

Bogata Columbia here we come!!!

Adam and I will be leaving on Wednesday to take 31 high school and college students from our church to Bogata, Columbia on a mission trip. God's love is so good and we want to go share it with others!!! Hopefully we will get some good news from Rwanda while we are there:)

Still Waiting:)

So we are back from Cornerstone and we still don't have any news- our POA has told us that The Minister's office should have our approval "soon," but we all know what that means! The blessing on the other side is worth the wait and we are focusing on God's goodness and timing- He is perfect and we can trust Him with our lives!!! While at the music festival we met a family who just came home with their daughter from Uganda- she is 10 months old and BEAUTIFUL. Adam said to me after meeting them, "I just really wanted to hold her." That totally melted my heart- he's going to be such a good dad! Right now I am frantically doing laundry and cleaning and then we head out next week for a mission trip to Columbia with 30 of the high school and college students from our church. I've made sure we will have internet access over there so I can get news if it comes while we are there, but we are hoping to hear something this week:)
