Adopted by so many...

When I think about the journey to bring Levi and Judah home, it becomes strikingly apparrent that they have been adopted by a HUGE community of people. Adam and I are simply the lucky ones who actually get to be their parents. Our families, friends, church community and "blogging friends" have been praying for us and encouraging us through every tear and bump along the way and now that they are home, we are experiencing the same love and support. Thank you doesn't seem sufficient for those who have stood with us, prayed for us, supplied us with every baby item we could possibly need, and continue to offer their love and assistance wherever it is needed.

Levi and Judah (and Adam and I) are loved by so many and we pray that one day they will be able to look back and see what a large group was a part of their story. Thank you for praying- we still need it! Thank you for all the encouraging words, gifts, and love you have so lavished on all four of us. We are incredibly humbled and grateful for such a community of friends and family.

Sending lots of love,

The Dorband 4

  1. its our gift that we get to love you (all!)

  2. it has been a total blessing for us to have been able to have you guys as friend and mentors in our lives. To watch both you and Adam grow as a couple and even now as a family has been a very inspiring thing for us to witness. I am so very thankful for all you have done in both of our lives, you have put a lot of time and effort into listening to both of us and helping us to prepair for marriage, allowing me to help out with leadership at Alive, and even being my role models when I was in my senior year of highschool and a student myself at real life. thank you for all you both have done and still continue to do for Christ! We are so very thankful for the both of you, and blessed to be able to call you not only friends, but also brothers and sister in Christ! May God continue to work mericals and crazy amounts of blessings into your lives. p.s. we love levi and judah!! :) - Rissa & Erik Hildebrandt

  3. This whole journey has been a pleasure to me to see God work. It has been a blessing to be able to lift a sister and brother up and their new family. We praise God for you and your husband and will continue to pray for you all in the days ahead.

  4. Congratulations on becoming parents, you two! You have a steep learning curve ahead of you as all new parents do, but I'm so glad to see you are surrounded by such a loving and helpful community! God bless Levi and Judah!
